Therapist – Vicky Betteley:

I studied at Edge Hill University for three years, where I gained a BSc (Hons) in Sports Therapy. I learnt a variety of techniques and gained valuable practical experience throughout the whole course, which included a high degree of theoretical knowledge.

During that period I completed several placements, which helped me gain the practical experience and know how that is required in this profession, these practical placements included sports clubs, hospitals and private clinics.

I am now very experienced having treated a host of different injuries for over a decade.

I’m currently based at Stapeley, Nantwich in Cheshire, where I have a private and comfortable treatment room. I have many clients in the Crewe and Nantwich area.

Home visits are also available within the local area if required. I provide treatment and advice to help people recover from and manage both everyday injuries and sports injuries. I feel proud to have helped clients with various injuries, please take a look at my genuine testimonies page. My client base is quite broad, ranging from runners, cyclists, swimmers, golfers, dancers, rugby players and footballers to those suffering from aches and pains from their everyday lifestyle or line of work.

From my training and experience I can: –

  • Assess various injuries and conditions.
  • Use a variety of treatment modalities.
  • Offer advice on fitness and nutrition.
  • Discuss injury prevention methods.
  • Provide post injury/operation rehabilitation.

Sports massage and sports therapy can be very beneficial for those who are training for an event or dealing with sport injuries. It’s also useful for prevention and maintenance.
